Chicago, Illinois — On March 18-20, hundreds of Latino leaders descended on Washington, DC, for the 21st Annual USHCC Legislative Summit, and the Hispanic Executive team was among them. Welcoming attendees and sponsors for two days of substantive workshops, networking opportunities, and Hill visits, the Legislative Summit is an invaluable resource to Hispanic-owned businesses and their leaders.
From the Hispanic Business Luncheon, where we had the opportunity to listen to speakers such as US House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Ricardo Fort, the head of global sponsorship marketing for Visa, Inc., to a great networking reception hosted by Altria just steps away from the Capital building, the HE team was there to catch it all. Perhaps the highlight of our trip was getting to connect with our upcoming Spring cover star, the Honorable Nelson Diaz as he visited DC to meet with the team and enjoy a day at the Summit.
