Chances are that if you’re a sports enthusiast, Kati Fernandez has played a role in some of your favorite content. She oversees the content development and integration group that reports directly to the SVP of original content and films at ESPN. Her team works to solidify the content strategy, launch plans, performance, communication, and distribution for all ESPN+ Original, ESPN+ Studio, ESPN Films, 30 for 30, and Special Projects. Recently, Fernandez’s team launched The Undefeated on ESPN+, stories that sit at the intersection of sports, race, and culture.
Fernandez cofounded the nonprofit Lazos Al Futuro with her sister to empower and uplift the Dominican Republic’s youth leaders and improve high school and college graduation rates. She now seeks to expand Lazos Al Futuro to other areas and continue making an impact both at work and in her community.
