Alma Angeles-Parvaz’s passion for sports can be traced back to her schoolyard days. She’s been a sports aficionado from the start, and now she’s made a career of it.
As a marketer with eighteen years of experience in the areas of sport and entertainment, she has mastered the ins and outs of commercial revenue growth. She’s honed and executed these specialties to reach her current role as vice president of partnerships for the Charlotte Hornets. To date, she is the highest ranked Latina within the NBA’s revenue division.
Her path to today has been a fun and decorated one. She has led global teams, negotiated countless groundbreaking deals with Fortune 100 brands, secured one of the largest WNBA jersey sponsorships at the time, and had the high honor of servicing as a liaison for the Mexican National Soccer Team within the US commercial space. Her work has also won two Telly Awards and broken two Guinness World Records.
For this first generation Mexican American and California native, all huge dreams have come true.
