Hispanic Executive’s Most Ambitious Chapter Yet

Over the past twenty years, I have had the privilege of watching Hispanic Executive become a platform for thousands of remarkable leaders. We have celebrated careers, documented accomplishments, challenged assumptions about what leadership looks like, and, I hope, helped change the narrative around Latino leadership in America.

That work remains as important to me today as it was when we started.

But two decades later, our community has changed. The world around us has changed. And Hispanic Executive is changing with it.

Today, Latino leaders aren’t simply looking to see themselves represented in business media. They are navigating increasingly complex organizations, industries, markets, and communities. They are making decisions in an environment where technology is transforming how we work, demographic shifts are reshaping the economy, and the influence of the Latino community continues to grow.

That creates a different responsibility for us.

For nearly two decades, our job has been to elevate Latino leaders, making the greater world aware of the abundance of talent that exists in our community. That work has also directly benefited the executives themselves, helping open doors, create opportunities, and advance the careers of thousands of leaders.

But just as the number of platforms dedicated to elevating Hispanic leaders remains few, so does the number of outlets empowering our leaders with the information they need to make decisions.

And that marks the new call to action for our brand: Hispanic Executive is moving from elevating Latino leaders to also informing them.

That distinction may sound simple, but for Hispanic Executive, it represents a significant evolution.

You will begin to see more from us: more stories, more analysis, new columns, different perspectives, conversations from the rooms where important ideas are being discussed, and coverage that helps make sense of the forces shaping business and Latino leadership today.

You will hear from more voices, too.

Some will be familiar. Others will challenge the way we think. And increasingly, Hispanic Executive will become a place not only to discover the people changing Corporate America, but also for those leaders themselves to get the information they need to understand the ideas, decisions, and trends influencing where the business world goes next.

Our growing editorial ecosystem reflects that ambition.

You’ll see that evolution begin with an expanded newsletter lineup with The Edit, The Dispatch, and The Latino Majority, each designed with a different purpose and a different way to engage with the ideas and conversations shaping Latino leadership.

And that’s just the start.

Becoming part of the AVANCE ecosystem expands that possibility even further with the expansion of rooms, events, and conferences that provide our audience with the commercial and professional networks to get deals done.

For me, what makes this moment exciting isn’t simply that Hispanic Executive has a larger ecosystem around it. It’s what that ecosystem allows us to do: connect storytelling with conversations, ideas, relationships, experiences, and opportunities in ways that weren’t possible before.

Throughout all of this, the foundation of Hispanic Executive will remain the same.

We will continue telling the stories of extraordinary Latino leaders. We will continue celebrating their accomplishments and examining the paths that brought them there. We will continue challenging outdated narratives about who holds influence, who builds businesses, who leads organizations, and who shapes the future of this country.

But we will start to do more.

We represent a platform that serves Latino leaders not only by reflecting their success back to the world, but by giving them information, perspectives, and conversations that help them navigate what comes next. And the networks to make it all possible.

That is the opportunity in front of us.

Hispanic Executive is entering its most ambitious chapter yet.

And we are only getting started.
