Mirian Arias is head of corporate communications at the Harlem Globetrotters, a subsidiary of Herschend Entertainment Studios, where she serves as a member of the executive team reporting directly to the president of the organization.
In her role, she leads, creates, and executes all media relations strategies across corporate, consumer, and crisis with focus on global production and development, domestic, and international touring, as well as licensing and merchandising.
Arias brings over twenty years of communications expertise and has held executive leadership positions at Disney ABC Television Group as vice president of media relations and talent relations, NBCUniversal as vice president of iVillage, and Nickelodeon as director of communications.
Arias is a proud graduate of Boston University, where she received her bachelor’s degree from the College of Communication. She resides in Boston, with her husband and two children.
