Josue Napa is the VP and head of finance and accounting for the Brooklyn Nets, overseeing the financial operations of the NBA team and its affiliated entities, including the Long Island Nets (a G-League team), the Nets Gaming Crew (an eSports team), and the Nets & NY Liberty Foundation (a charitable organization).

He also liaises with the NBA finance team on league reporting and audits, and has successfully led the Nets through two ownership transitions and a financial transformation process. Napa is highly regarded around the league and consistently shares his knowledge and experience with other NBA finance teams.

Napa is a CPA and has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Josue has worked as a director of finance at Mediavest USA, a media agency under the Publicis Groupe, and as an experienced manager at PwC, where he served domestic and multinational audit clients in the manufacturing, retail, distribution, law firm, real estate, advertising, and transportation and logistics industries.  

Napa is a native of Peru and a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and community service. He has served on the board of directors for the ALPFA New York Chapter, one of the largest professional associations serving the LatinX community, led the Junior Achievement/ PwC Mentoring Program, a career development initiative for high school students, serves on the finance committee of All Star Code, a non-profit organization that empowers young men of color through coding education, and continues to volunteer for the Ascend Educational Fund, a scholarship program for immigrant students. Napa was recognized as one of 2019 Top Latino Leaders Under 40 by Prospanica NY.

He holds a degree from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. Josue is married with two children and enjoys cooking and traveling in his spare time.
