Movers and Shakers: Philippe Moggio

Philippe Moggio is the general secretary of the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF)

As general secretary of the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), Philippe Moggio acts as CONCACAF’s CEO, leading its daily business and operations.

Prior to joining CONCACAF, he was senior vice president of Latin America for the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he oversaw the expansion of their business and the development of basketball throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2016, Hispanic Executive learned that Moggio directed all the NBA’s efforts in the region across media distribution (television and digital platforms), sponsorship, and licensed merchandise.

Before then, Moggio worked in investment banking for ten years, covering the media, telecom, and technology industries in both the US and Latin America, spending five years each at Bank of America Securities and ABN AMRO/ING Barings.
