What is unique about working in Las Vegas compared to other US cities?
From the ashes of our construction-based businesses, hundreds of small businesses have popped up all over headed by employees who now have the opportunity to live their dreams.

Opportunity, Diverse, Exciting!

What makes Las Vegas a great place for a Hispanic business like yours?
Las Vegas is a very diverse city with a lot of jobs to offer Hispanic workers and those workers become motivated to start their own businesses. Hispanic businesses are everywhere here, so our ability to market to them and reach them on a personal level is fantastic.

What advantages and challenges does the area pose for Latino-owned businesses?
Las Vegas will always be a “revolving-door” business market in that new projects will always bring new people to this city. Those people bring different needs and someone has to tailor to them, so it might as well be us. The disadvantage is that the Hispanic community really supports its Latino-owned businesses, but Las Vegas itself does not seem to have that loyalty yet. I believe it’s coming and it will transform our businesses.

What is unique about working in Las Vegas compared to other US cities?
Las Vegas is a very unique market because of its diversity and economic and growth climate.

What makes Las Vegas a great place for a Hispanic business like yours?
The community is young and growing. Hispanics represent a large percentage of the working force and my company has helped other businesses serve our community.

What advantages and challenges does the area pose for Latino-owned businesses?
Our community is underserved and in need of many services. Small and large businesses are always looking to help the Hispanics and this has posed an advantage to my company and has allowed me to grow. The challenges we have had to endure are related to the impact of the economy and the lack to funding for the development of our businesses. I am very hopeful for our future and continue to work for a better tomorrow.

What makes Las Vegas a great place for a Hispanic business like yours?
We can serve the needs of the whole community by providing employment and volunteering opportunities while enabling people to purchase goods and services locally.

What advantages and challenges does the area pose for Latino-owned businesses?
There are diversity initiatives that have helped us grow our business. Latinos have proven they can compete not only on a local level, but on a global one. The only disadvantage has been the slow economic recovery to our state.
