Health administration is the name of the game for Juan Guzman. As the regional service line director for musculoskeletal and oncology at Indiana University Health, Guzman serves as a strategic leader across the IU Health ISR musculoskeletal and oncology service lines and is responsible for the development of the long-term vision as well as its execution across the care continuum, among other responsibilities. His career highlights include leading the development and successful approval of an $83 million investment to expand IU Health West Hospital.
Guzman is certainly busy, but he still manages to find time to give back and expand his skill set. He nurtures his love of education by serving as a mentor with Indianapolis-based Starfish Initiative and participated in the Indiana Latino Institute Leadership Circle, a two-year program that identifies and mentors emerging Latino leaders by connecting them with community professionals. His long-term goals include leading a comprehensive healthcare institution and ensuring Latinos have equitable social and economic opportunities. We’re sure he’ll do all of this and much more, both in the Hoosier state and beyond.
