Krys Molina believes in engaging in pursuits that bring her wonder. As a senior associate in information and data science at Pfizer, she’s worked on aggregating data from silos, creating insightful dashboards, and building an analytics platform. The pandemic afforded her a unique opportunity to showcase and develop her skills: when the company was creating its COVID-19 vaccine, Molina was chosen to help build the engine that powered the dashboards the executive leadership team used to make decisions throughout the pandemic. She eventually became the youngest data scientist on the company’s COVID-19 Dashboards Study Team and the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Team. She is also the founder and lead of Pfizer’s Young Latino Professionals Initiative, an internal mentorship program.
Molina is committed to continuing her education and is currently doing a fellowship at Data Science for All (DS4A)/Empowerment, a virtual data analytics training and jobs program. She also recently graduated from Morning Brew’s Career Accelerator program.
