Paulina Chapa Treviño, from Monterrey, Mexico, is a seasoned marketing and communications leader with a remarkable thirteen-year career in the sports industry, working for brands like the Chicago White Sox, National Basketball Association (NBA), Women’s NBA, US Soccer, LaLiga, and, most recently, rEvolution.
In June 2023, Chapa Treviño joined rEvolution, the leading independent sports marketing and media agency based in Chicago, as director of marketing and communications. In her role, she leads efforts to deliver exceptional marketing and integrated communications campaigns on behalf of the agency, brands, sports teams and leagues.
Chapa Treviño has significant experience working in soccer. As senior marketing manager for LALIGA’s NFT product, LALIGA Golazos, she led the development and execution of fully integrated multilingual marketing and communications campaigns for the product resulting in over $2 million in gross revenue in 2023.
Prior to joining LALIGA Golazos, Paulina was director of content at US Soccer Federation, where she oversaw strategy, planning, and execution of all US Soccer content across the federation’s media partners and online distribution channels. Her areas of focus included the Women’s Senior National Team, Men’s Senior National Team, Youth National Teams, Extended National Teams, Membership, Caching, Refereeing, as well as diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives and events.
From 2017 to 2020, Chapa Treviño was senior vice president of marketing for the WNBA Dallas Wings where she oversaw the team’s marketing efforts and led the planning, development, and execution of fully integrated, multi-channel marketing and promotional campaigns designed to build brand awareness, engage fans, and drive revenue.
Chapa Treviño spent five years with the NBA starting in 2012, where she supported brand management, marketing strategy, and creative execution for the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League properties globally. While there, she worked on some of the league’s most exciting global marketing campaigns and platforms including éne•bé•a, the NBA’s first-ever integrated marketing campaign targeted to bilingual and bicultural Latino fans, which generated record-breaking results for the association.
Paulina earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, and currently lives in Hyde Park with her husband Agustin, their twins Sofia and Elena, and their dog Oso.
