30 Under 30: Zino Haro

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Variety is the spice of life for Zino Haro. She studied computer science in college and even presented her cybersecurity research internationally. Today Haro is the CEO of Uni-ke, a start-up in the fashion and supply chain industries that provides low-income youth with an avenue for creative economic opportunity. She joined the company as a designer and fashion industry advisor but transitioned into the CEO role in early 2021. She has led multiple designers to show in the upcoming New York Fashion Week in September and helped make the company internationally active, among other successes.

Haro proudly notes that Uni-ke has given young designers an opportunity to start something that would otherwise have been impossible. The company plans to increase its economic autonomy throughout Mexico and the United States and, eventually, in other countries. Moving forward, Haro would like to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community and continue her musical career on the side.
